Introduction


PANCHADEV PAHAD & KURUVAPURAM ARE THE ABODE OF SRIPADA SRIVALLABHA, THE FIRST INCARNATION OF ADI GURU SRI DATTATREYA.


For 14 years he took penance at Kuruvapuram and at PanchaDev Pahad where Sripada Swami used to conduct Darbar regularly. He used to
  • Deliver the spiritual discourses
  •  treat devotees of their illness
  • fulfill their wishes
  • do free distribution of food as Prasadam



On the Banks of River Krishna, a small village Panchadev Pahad is located 28km from Makthal Mandal of Mahabub Nagar district. In this village, there exists an Ashram -Sripada Chaya.

Sripada Chaya Ashram is working towards various upliftment programs from last 11 years.
  • ‘Nityaannadanam’ serving the needy old people, children and pilgrims visiting the temple town of Kuruvapuram.
  •  For the convenience of pilgrims, Ashram also provides accommodation.
  • Regularly on monthly basis, during second Sunday Gayatri Maha Yagnam, Anagha Vratam and Gau Puja are performed at Panchadev Pahad.
  • Gauseva- Sripada Chaya Ashram also has Nanadini GauShala where 30 Cows (few of them are from Girinar) being served daily.
